About Sofh:

• Sofh has been producing PRs for over 25 years, all assembled and ground by Gianni in his shop.

• All components (bushings and polymers) are Made in Italy to Sofh's  designs and specs.

• Only high quality ball bearings are used (GRW, NSK, NTN, SKF) 

• Before being shipped to the customers, all Sofh PRs are tested both mechanically (on a concentricity bench with a tolerance of two microns (0,002 mm)) and electronically (2 Kenwood FL-180A + 1 Leader LFM 3616 calibrated by Meguro MWS-672).Testing is performed at the beginning, middle, and approximately 80-85% of the 65 min. magnetic tape.The result of each PR must obviously meet or exceed the specifications required by the manufacturer.

      Studer/ Revox PRs are tested at various speeds and detected at 38 cm/s on  A77s, B77s, PR99, A700, A80, A810, A807).

• In 2018, Soft patented the Super Calibrated PRs, featuring two bearings plus an internal adapter that ensures perfect interference with the PR shaft and eliminates any friction and heat caused by the bushing's rotation.
